Very good experience! The guide had clear explanations. We visited a “mill” then 2 ice cellars.(..) The 4×4 journey with the crossing of several fords and the crampon ride to access the cellars are a plus! A background of music in the 4×4 could add to the “adventure” atmosphere of this expedition! 🙂

The whole day was outstanding, from the 0800 pick up to the 1830 drop off. Our minibus driver, Gudrun, was great. The cave was a highlight, but overall just standing on a glacier, enjoying some glacier ice water, and seeing the view from up there was all well worth it. (..)

This was an amazing experience. Our guide read the group well, kept our pace manageable, and had lots of stories and facts to share about the glacier. The cave was a highlight, but overall just standing on a glacier, enjoying some glacier ice water, and seeing the view from up there was all well worth it. (..) – I’m short, but I had plenty of difficulty with some of the stairs carved in to the glacier that we had to climb up.
